Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born December 2 the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress best known for her roles on daytime television, episodic guest appearances, and made-for-television films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022, she played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), an Orthodox rabbi and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).
Sofer moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a young person. The family was raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first character on General Hospital. In 1993, she was the manager of a band. Her first role on television was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap opera that revolved around Loving (1988-91).
