Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the moment. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks following her very first tryout. Felix completed high school and subsequently signed an official contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she began her studies at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. In 2005, she was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, defeating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes at her particular events.
